                                       Airtel dish Tv remote configuration

Airtel Digital TV has the famous universal remote which helps us to control both the TV as well as the STB , however some people find problems programming the remote and end up using two remote however here is the easiest  method :
Make sure that you have the Air- tel Remote and the TV Remote Handy


First Align your TV remote and airtel remote parallel to each other and make sure both infrared heads are aligned parallel to each other . Here is the setup apparatus :

Press OK + 2 buttons on the Airtel Remote until the LED Blinks For Two Times 

Now the Airtel Remote is in Learning Mode 

Now press the Tv button on the Airtel Remote First 

Then Power Button on the TV Remote 

The Airtel Remote LED will blink 2 times to indicate successful Learning 

Now Press The Mute Button on the Airtel Remote 

Now do the Same on the TV Remote 

The Airtel Remote LED will  again blink 2 times to indicate successful Learning 

Now press the AV Button on the Airtel Remote 

(Note you can select the default input in yout TV so this is an optional programming option) 

Press A/V Button on your TV Remote 

Now press Volume Up(+) Key on your Airtel Remote

Then Volume (+)  on the TV Remote 

The Airtel Remote LED will  again blink 2 times to indicate successful Learning 

Now press Volume Down(-) Key on your Airtel Remote

Then the volume (-) key on the TV Remote 

The Airtel Remote LED will  again blink 2 times to indicate successful Learning 

Now again press OK+2 and it is programmed 

NOTE : Not all TV Remotes may be programmed
